The Inter Vice President carried the Olympic Torch on the pathway to Cernobbio

A special day for Inter and for Javier Zanetti, who took centre stage on Tuesday, February 3, as a torchbearer for the Olympic Flame. The Nerazzurri Vice President took part in the 58th stage of the Flame’s long journey, which will conclude on February 6 in Milano with the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. The day’s stage ended on Lake Como, with the lighting of the Olympic cauldron in Piazza Cavour. Zanetti carried the Olympic Flame to Cernobbio, before the torch was taken aboard the historic Patria ferry, continuing its journey along the Como lakeside. In the coming days, Nerazzurri head coach Cristian Chivu will also take part as a torchbearer.
