The thoughts of the Argentine and Turk after Inter's 3-1 win at San Siro

His third goal of the season. It came at the same end of the ground as his finish against Spezia, against whom he netted with his left foot, just like he did this evening. This time around, Cremonese were the victims, with Lautaro coming on and putting the game to bed with a decisive contribution on the counter.

The Argentine striker had the following to say to Inter TV after the game: “It was important to get back to winning ways, and we did so deservedly. My stats are of little importance; the important thing is for the team to do well and win. I’m happy with my current form because I’m helping my teammates. I always try to learn from my teammates in training, every single day. It was crucial to bounce back from the defeat in Rome, and now we’ll rest and start preparing for the derby as best we can. We’re all waiting for this match, and everyone – both the team and fans – need to be united in order to be really fired up going into the game.”

Hakan Calhanoglu was also a key figure in the win over Cremonese, providing a wonderful assist for Barella. The Turkish midfielder has been involved in at least one goal in each of his last five home games in Serie A (one goal, five assists).

This is what he had to say to Inter TV after the match, which was his 50th in the Inter shirt: “I’m happy about achieving this feat; I hope to make many more appearances for the Nerazzurri. It wasn’t easy to face Cremonese today; they are strong physically. We responded well and the win was deserved. With courage and quality, we scored three great goals. We always had men on us and it wasn’t easy, but we moved well to find the right spaces and scored some very nice goals. A good performance was needed, and this was a team performance. The derby? We’re fired up.”
