Lautaro Martinez is the top scorer of the 2025/26 Serie A season

Another trophy caps off an unforgettable season for Lautaro Martinez. After being named Best Striker of the 2025/26 Serie A season, he also took home the Striker of the Season award thanks to finishing as the league’s top scorer with 17 goals in 30 appearances.

Thirteen players in Inter history have won the Serie A top scorer title, for a total of eighteen awards. Lautaro has now become the league’s top scorer for the second time in his career, becoming only the fourth Inter player ever to achieve this feat. Before him, only Roberto Boninsegna and Mauro Icardi managed it twice, while Giuseppe Meazza still leads the way with three wins in the 1929/30, 1935/36, and 1937/38 seasons. Alongside Meazza, Lautaro is the only Inter player to win the top scorer title twice in seasons where the Nerazzurri also won the Scudetto.

For the second time in the last three seasons, after scoring 24 goals in 2023/24, El Toro finished the league at the top of the scoring charts. He has now matched Giuseppe Meazza, who achieved the feat between 1935/36 and 1937/38, while only Roberto Boninsegna has managed to win the top scorer title with Inter in consecutive seasons (1970/71 and 1971/72).

With yet another prestigious accolade added to his collection, Lautaro has written another chapter in Nerazzurri history.
