Munich, the breakdown of the day

It was a very hot Saturday in Munich, a Saturday warmed up by tens of thousands of Nerazzurri fans in Bavaria supporting Inter in the Champions League Final. The city was invaded by a black and blue sea which filled up the streets, the bars and the beer gardens. A Nerazzurri wave and a recognisable sound: the chants of fans, waiting for the start of the game. The heart of Munich has been flooded by Inter supporters.

Walter Samuel, Ivan Cordoba, Julio Cesar. When they came onto the stage at Odeonsplatz, the ovation from the Inter fans was something else. The buildup to kick-off begins here, in this Inter-dominant part of Munich, where the most passionate fans are. Inter legends and special guests, like Luciano Ligabue who sings his famous song 'Urlando contro il cielo', which accompanies all of Inter's goals. It's a special afternoon, one that no one will forget.
