Lorenzo Tosto joins Inter U23

MILANO - FC Internazionale Milano is delighted to announce that Lorenzo Tosto has joined the Club. The 2006-born defender has arrived at Inter U23 on loan with an option to buy. A strong, physically imposing centre-back, Tosto was born in Lucca on 29 January 2006 and began his footballing journey in Empoli’s youth academy. His development saw him make his first-team debut at the age of 18 during the 2024/25 season, when he played a key role in the Tuscan side’s impressive Coppa Italia run. He made his professional debut away to Torino in the second round on 24 September 2024 and started every game of Empoli’s Coppa Italia campaign, which eventually ended against Bologna over two legs in the Semi-finals. On 2 February, he also made his Serie A debut, coming on in the closing stages against Juventus. The following season, he made one appearance in Serie B before joining Livorno on loan in January, where he registered nine appearances and one assist during the second half of the Serie C campaign.
