Nations League: Stankovic and Bisseck feature for Serbia and Germany

The second round of League A Group 2 saw two Inter players take to the field: Yann Bisseck and Aleksandar Stankovic, who made their debuts in the 2026/27 Nations League. Both Nerazzurri players started, with Jurgen Klopp and Veliko Paunovic respectively selecting them in their starting lineups.

Stankovic played 59 minutes in Serbia's home defeat to the Netherlands. In Belgrade, the Oranje claimed all three points thanks to Meerdink's brace, while Jovic had briefly brought the hosts level. After two rounds, Greece lead the group with a perfect record, followed by the Netherlands on four points. Germany are third with one point, while Serbia sit bottom without any points.
