Pavard: "A wonderful feeling, we don't set limits for ourselves"
First Team
— Apr 16th 2025A special evening for Benjamin Pavard, who, with his first Inter goal, helped the Nerazzurri progress to the Champions League semi-finals
There are nights that are hard to forget - evenings that bring special emotions. This game at San Siro against Bayern Munich will undoubtedly remain in Benjamin Pavard’s memory: not only did Inter progress to the Champions League semi-finals, but the Frenchman also scored his first Nerazzurri goal. It came against his former team and in front of over 75,000 Nerazzurri fans, who erupted with joy following his header in the 61st minute.
“I’m really happy about my goal - I’d been waiting for it for a long time. I’m honestly almost happier for the team than for myself, even though it was a special feeling to score my first Inter goal here. We had to stay focused. It wasn’t an easy game, and now we need to recover ahead of our next league match. We don’t set limits for ourselves: we have a great team and a group of staff that work really well. We always want to win, and we want to keep pushing forward. The league is tight, and the match against Bologna will be tough.”
