— Nov 9th 2022The thoughts of two of the key figures in the win over Bologna at San Siro
A brace in front of his home crowd and an unforgettable evening for Federico Dimarco. This is what the Italian had to say following Inter's 6-1 victory over Bologna:
“We needed a win after our defeat to Juventus. I’m happy to have scored, but, for me, it was important to respond after Sunday’s game. Now, our attentions will turn to the Atalanta game, which will be very difficult. I always try to train as best I can and make improvements. Playing on a regular basis is giving me confidence. How did my celebration come about? It’s from a sketch from the sitcom “I soliti idioti” where they’re at the supermarket and one of them keeps making this gesture. We used to joke a lot about this so I decided this would be my celebration this year.”

A magnificent goal and a fantastic performance. These were Edin Dzeko's post-match comments:
“I saw the ball coming towards me and I told myself I’d give it a go, and it went well. I think it’s one of the best goals I’ve scored in my career. We definitely didn’t start well tonight, but there wasn’t a hangover from the defeat in Turin. We knew that today would be difficult, and then we conceded an unlucky goal. After this, we woke up. My hug with Gosens after his goal? I think it’s normal to help those who are finding things difficult. The season is long, and every player is important. I’m happy for Robin, also because he always gives his all. A goal can help boost confidence levels. Now, we need to prepare well for Atalanta and hope to finish 2022 in the best way possible.”
