The thoughts of the three Inter players after the 5-1 win over Venezia in the Round of 16

A dominant and attentive performance from Inter, who eliminated Venezia with a 5-1 win in the Coppa Italia Round of 16. Marcus Thuram, scorer of a brace, Ange-Yoan Bonny who scored a brilliant goal, and Yann Bisseck spoke at the end of the match:

“Apart from the goals, because we scored lots today, the attitude we showed is important. Even after conceding, I think we played a serious match. We're a solid group. We have 23-24 top-quality players, and even the youngsters who train with us and played today. It's very important for them and they can help us out. As I said before the match, we play to go as far as possible in every competition, then we'll see. ”

Marcus Thuram

“Yes, it's a great feeling. It's the result of the work from everyone. I am very happy with today, with the performance and goal. We're happy for Diouf because the start hasn't been simple for him. He's showing his true value to everyone. ”

Ange-Yoan Bonny

“We did our things well, showing quality on the ball but we shouldn't concede a goal like that, even though the night was brilliant. Pio's goal? I wanted to put it into the area for him, but it was brilliant. For me, helping the team, showing my quality and winning is important. I'm working a lot this season, the start hasn't been amazing but I believe in myself and I know what I can give to the team: I'm happy to have the confidence of the Coach, I can still improve. ”

Yann Bisseck
