Nerazzurri down to ten men in the 5th minute and lose 4-1 in Madrid: Iddrissou scored from the spot. First Youth League defeat for Carbone's side.

Carbone’s Inter side suffered their first Youth League defeat of the season in Spain: the Nerazzurri lost 4-1 to Atlético Madrid, forced to play with ten men for almost the entire match after Galliera’s red card in the 5th minute. The hosts took the lead in the 16th minute through Barrios, while Iddrissou had the best chances for Inter in the first half: he missed a penalty in the 24th minute but converted a second just before half-time to level the match. Atlético pressed hard after the break, making full use of their numerical advantage and extending their lead through goals from Tamargo and Llorente. In the closing stages, the home side pushed on and added a fourth through Esteban. It marks the first setback of Inter’s European campaign. They remain on eight points and will play for qualification on the final matchday at home to Liverpool.
