MILAN - Italy weren't able to do it at the Bernabeu as Giampiero Ventura's team lost 3-0 to Spain in a qualifier for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Candreva was a starter and remained on until the 70th minute when Eder came on for Belotti. D'Ambrosio didn't play.

Croatia's match with Kosovo was suspended after 25 minutes due to bad weather with Brozovic and Perisic both starting before the fixture was suspended.
