The Nerazzurri’s new No.17 was today presented to fans live on Facebook: “I will do my best and I hope that I can help the team”

APPIANO GENTILE - Yann  Karamoh today made first contact with Nerazzurri supporters, as he was officially presented to the Inter family live on Facebook and the Inter Channel: “I couldn’t wait to arrive here, everything happened really fast. I had a few different offers, but I was instantly focused on Inter. It’s a dream come true for me and I did not think twice about it. Inter have a great history and it’s an honour to be a part of it. I visited the trophy room and I was really impressed. As for my Nerazzurri idol, obviously it has to be Samuel Eto’o.”

Following his recent introduction to the club, the young attacker revealed how he has settled in so far: “Milan has had a great impact on me and I’ve already had the chance to have a few trips around the city, which I like a lot. Now I will have time to get to know all of my teammates, but a lot of them have already called to welcome me. I’ve already made friends with Dalbert, but also with some of the others who speak French. I am sure that I’ll build a strong relationship with the entire group.”

As for his role within the side, Karamoh is hopeful that he can have an immediate impact: “In terms of convincing Spalletti to use me, I am hopeful that my characteristics will allow me to secure a spot in the side, I feel ready. With my playing style, I like to be on the ball and attempting dribbles, while also aiming to always improve my pace. I followed Spalletti during his time at Roma and he is obviously an exceptional coach who loves to win. My preferred role is not important, as I can take up different positions across the pitch. The main thing for me is to find the right position where I can do as well as possible, scoring goals and providing assists. I will try to do my best.”
