UEFA Youth League, Inter vs. Rennes to be played on 16 August in Nyon

MILAN - After the Nerazzurri Club’s decision not to take part in the European fixture against Rennes to protect the health of the Club’s players, representatives and employees, UEFA issued the statement below today. The game was initially scheduled for 3 March, but was then postponed to the 11th of the same month at a neutral ground in Coverciano due to the COVID-19 emergency. Here’s UEFA’s statement:

In light of the unprecedented situation caused by COVID-19 and following an agreement reached between the two clubs in line with the values and spirit of the UEFA Youth League, the game will be rescheduled as part of the new fixture list approved by the UEFA Executive Committee. The match will now be played at 15:00 CEST on 16 August in Nyon.
