Arena Interista, events of the day
Scudetto 21
— just nowA special day in a venue that has written the history of Inter: the Arena Civica Gianni Brera, in the heart of Milano, was once again coloured in the Inter colours for an unforgettable afternoon.
The historic Milano stadium became the perfect stage to once again celebrate the conquest of the 21st Scudetto and the tenth Coppa Italia in Inter’s history, transforming for one day into the centre of gravity for the entire Inter world.
This afternoon featured on-pitch appearances from the Nerazzurri Legends, preparing for the Corazon Classic Match against Real Madrid on 13 June, as well as the First-Team, with the Italian Champions wearing the new 2026/27 Home Kit and accompanied by the two trophies won during the season now drawing to a close. The Arena Civica was the perfect venue for an extraordinary event, organised in the spirit of inclusivity thanks also to the presence of the Special Team, a complete celebration of the Nerazzurri world, attended as well by historic Inter President Massimo Moratti, who was welcomed with great enthusiasm and emotion by everyone present.
FAREWELL TO THE FANS
The Nerazzurri's afternoon at the Arena Civica came to an end as the sun slowly began to set. After completing the exhibition, the team thanked and greeted the crowd by throwing gadgets and mini-footballs into the stands: a small gesture of appreciation for the love shown at every match, a symbol of the bond within the Nerazzurri family, and the perfect way to close this unforgettable day.
CHAMPIONS OF ITALY ON THE PITCH
It's Inter’s moment: the Italian Champions step onto the pitch at the Arena Civica and receive all the love from the Nerazzurri fans in the stands. The players go through their warm-up before the exhibition begins, while applause, greetings and chants accompany the team’s work in celebration of this triumphant season.
THE INTER DOUBLE
The Italian Champions arrived at the Arena Civica: after the conclusion of the Legends’ exhibition, the pitch of the historic Milan venue became the perfect stage for the celebration of the entire Inter world. The First Team players entered the field carrying the Scudetto trophy and the Coppa Italia, wearing the new 2026/27 Home Kit: Lautaro Martínez and Nicolò Barella placed the trophies on the pitch, while all the representatives of Inter Women and the youth teams gathered on the Arena turf together with all the Nerazzurri employees to take an unforgettable commemorative photo of this season. All areas of the Club then received the thanks of President and CEO Giuseppe Marotta, who greeted everyone present at the Arena.
“I am very happy and proud to have you all here on a day that must celebrate an extraordinary achievement: a double triumph, two hugely important trophies. We are in an iconic venue, the Arena Civica, where Inter played from 1930 to 1947, but above all where Helenio Herrera’s Inter trained, the side that won two European Cups under the presidency of Angelo Moratti. I want to thank President Massimo Moratti, who is here with us, and also Dr. Tronchetti Provera, whose company Pirelli has written important chapters in the history of this Club. My thanks go to all these boys from the Italian league winning team, and to their leader Cristian Chivu, who guided them to these magnificent victories. Today, all the components of the club and of our family are here. These people represent the millions of fans around the world. Thank you all, you are the beating heart of our Club. You are the twelfth man on the pitch: the players are fully aware of it, your support is special and you are special. If the team wins, the credit also belongs to the invisible team working behind the players: the employees of Inter who dedicate their resources to allow the squad to perform at its highest level. We also have the U23 team here, the Women’s team that secured qualification for the UEFA Women’s Champions League, then the Primavera side preparing for the league play-offs, and all the youth sector teams. A thought also goes to our Special teams, three teams that are a source of great pride for our Club. I thank the Ownership, who took over Inter during a difficult period and managed to support the club’s operations. They have always been close to us, with a quiet and constant presence. Inter continues to move forward thanks to them as well. I also thank the Presidents who came before me in this role, the Moratti family, as well as Ivanoe Fraizzoli, Ernesto Pellegrini, Steven Zhang and everyone who, over these 118 years, has guided this club. This Arena is an icon of the city, and we are the city’s team: in Milano, we are the only club with Two Stars, there is only us. Always Forza Inter, and thank you all.”

Some of the players stepped onto the pitch to greet the Legends, creating a special meeting between past and present in a venue so important to the Club’s history.
EXHIBITION OF THE INTER LEGENDS
It was the Inter Legends who opened the afternoon of Arena Interista: the former Nerazzurri champions took to the Arena Civica pitch for an exhibition in front of the many Inter fans in the stands, who were able to enjoy goals scored by Cambiasso, Karagounis and Zanetti, all under the watchful eyes of former Nerazzurri President Massimo Moratti, present pitchside. It was a special moment, filled with unforgettable memories and a love that never fades: the Legends are preparing for the upcoming friendly against Real Madrid Leyendas in the Corazón Classic Match, scheduled for 13 June at the Santiago Bernabéu.
