Marotta: "An honourable and prestigious award"

“I'm quite emotional; this is an incredible achievement in my career because it's an honourable and prestigious award, which only adds to the other awards I've had. However, I believe this is the most important of them all: this award recognises my career, my personal journey, and my professional journey. But none of this would have been possible without the football clubs I've worked for; my thoughts are with all the Presidents, some of whom are no longer with us, and who were very important mentors in my life. I think the key value being rewarded here is passion, the driving force behind all successful journeys. Passion goes hand in hand with humility. You must stay humble in your work, but at the same time, you need to be ambitious. Ambition is not the same as arrogance; it's a tool that pushes you to achieve greater goals. It is through the value of courage that you can be fearless in the pursuit of your ambition. Along with this, you also need perseverance because life is full of both wins and losses. What matters most is being able to get back and find a new purpose, and carry on your journey until you achieve your goals that bring you fulfillment. ”
