Tenacity, solidity, personality and class: Benjamin Pavard is a versatile defender, capable of playing both as a right-sided centre-back and as a right-back. Born in Maubeuge on 28 March 1996, Pavard came through the Lille academy before establishing himself at Stuttgart. He won the 2018 World Cup with France, scoring a decisive goal against Argentina in the Round of 16, and two years later lifted the Champions League trophy with Bayern Munich. In 2023, he joined Inter, where he played a key role in winning the Scudetto and the Second Star. He made 70 appearances for the Nerazzurri before returning to the club in summer 2026 after a season-long loan spell at Marseille.
