Born in Parma on 6 August 1997, Marcus developed as a footballer at Sochaux and, after two years at Guingamp, established himself at Borussia Mönchengladbach as a quick and technically gifted forward, capable of playing both centrally and out wide. In 2023, he joined Inter, immediately becoming a key figure in attack. A protagonist in the 2023/24 Scudetto triumph, scoring a decisive goal in the return Derby, Marcus has established himself as a complete striker, making 145 appearances and scoring 53 goals for the Nerazzurri, while winning two Scudetti, one Coppa Italia and one Supercoppa Italiana.
