An example of versatility and reliability, a guarantee whenever he is called upon: Carlos Augusto Zopolato Neves is a key player in the Nerazzurri squad. The Brazilian defender, born in Campinas on January 7, 1999, came through the Corinthians youth academy, making his professional debut with the club before moving to Italy.
His adventure in Italy began at Monza in Serie B in 2020. After two seasons, Carlos and the Brianza-based side secured promotion to the top flight. Following a highly positive campaign, Carlos Augusto joined Inter in the summer of 2023. With the Nerazzurri, the Brazilian immediately won the Italian Super Cup and the Serie A title, the club’s “Second Star.”
Over the years at Inter, Carlos has continued to develop, showing that he can play both as a wing-back and as a wide centre-back, consistently delivering excellent performances. His quality also earned him his first call-ups to the Brazilian national team.
