Career Story

Imposing physique, instinct and a sense of goal: Francesco Pio Esposito is a penalty-box striker, capable of battling with defenders and playing with his back to goal, bringing his team up the pitch and finishing in a variety of ways inside the opposition area. Born in Castellammare di Stabia on 28 June 2005, Esposito grew up wearing the Nerazzurri colours. He joined Inter's youth academy in 2014 and remained there until 2023, when he moved to Spezia on loan for two seasons. In 2025, he returned to Inter, making his first-team debut at the FIFA Club World Cup and scoring his first goal. He ended his first season with Inter by winning the Scudetto and Coppa Italia, making 48 appearances and scoring 10 goals.
