COPPA ITALIA 2009–2010
In 2010, Inter v Roma was a fierce rivalry: in the league and in the Coppa Italia. The match was played at the Olimpico in a frenzied atmosphere, with Sneijder leaving the pitch after just a few minutes. Mario Balotelli put in a fantastic performance, and Inter went through thanks to a marvellous goal from Milito, the first of his four legendary goals. The finale was explosive, with Francesco Totti sent off before Mourinho’s Inter celebrated.
