MILAN - The Serie A match between Juventus and Inter, originally scheduled for Sunday 1 March at 20:45 CET on matchday 26 in the league, has been postponed until Wednesday 13 May 2020.
Lega Serie A released the following statement:
With regard to Art. 1, par. 1, let. A) of the Decree from the President of the Council of Ministers on 25 February 2020 on “Further provisions for the implementation of the Decree Law no. 6 of 23 February 2020, taking urgent measures for the containment and management of the epidemiological emergency caused by COVID-19,”; in light of the numerous urgent interventions from the government to protect public health and safety in response to this extraordinary state of emergency; the President of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A has ordered the postponement of the following matches on the seventh gameweek of the return set of fixtures in the Serie A TIM league, with the games originally planned to be played behind closed doors as per the Official Statement no. 191 on 27 February 2020:
Juventus vs. Inter
AC Milan vs. Genoa
Parma vs. SPAL
Sassuolo vs. Brescia
Udinese vs. Fiorentina
The fixtures have all been rescheduled for Wednesday 13 May 2020. As a result, the final of the Coppa Italia will be played on Wednesday 20 May 2020.
