Inter have landed in Los Angeles, where on 17 June at the Rose Bowl Stadium, they will play their first game in the Club World Cup against Monterrey. Upon arrival, Cristian Chivu and Yann Sommer spoke about their first emotions ahead of the competition.
“It's a special competition. We will only play one match here at the Rose Bowl but we are very happy to be here. We are often travelling, we know that the facilities are great here and that it is an important competition for FIFA so we want to honour it as best as possible.”

“It was a long journey, but now we cannot wait to start the group stage. We are happy to be here: now it is important to prepare ourselves as best as possible, we don't know our opponents well. We will play in a great stadium, I hope there will be a great atmosphere and that it's a great game.”
