Diary from the States, Day 16 | A New Horizon
FIFA Club World Cup
— Jun 27th 2025We’ve left Seattle behind — its grey skies and sudden bursts of blue, its water and skyscrapers, its market, its piers, and that constant breeze that follows you everywhere. It gave us two victories, witnessed the goals of our young talents, and supported us through key moments. For a few days, it felt like home.
Now we arrive in Charlotte. A new city, waiting to be discovered. Modern and orderly, crossed by wide avenues and dotted with green spaces — it’s a place where sport is part of daily life, something you can feel all around you. We’ll learn to move through it, to make it ours — just enough to get ready for what’s next.
On Monday, Fluminense awaits. The flight is a bridge to the next step: clouds drifting outside the window, focused eyes inside the cabin. Some smiles, some silence. Everyone knows the journey continues. Inter has another match to play — and another piece of America to color in black and blue.
