Career Story

Throughout his career, Andy Alune Diouf has shown that he knows how to fight for something he has always believed in. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine on May 17, 2003, to a Senegalese father and a French mother, Diouf’s journey began at the age of six, when he started playing in the youth academy of Garenne-Colombes, a local club that quickly helped him make a name for himself in the Parisian football scene.

His physical presence was already impressive, while his technique still needed refining, but in 2012 he moved to Paris Saint-Germain. It was a decisive step in his development: Andy immediately reached a very high level, competed in prestigious international tournaments and realised that his passion would soon become his life.

In 2015, he joined AC Boulogne-Billancourt, where he spent three years. During this period, he also attended training camps at the Clairefontaine National Football Centre.

In 2018, his career took off with his move to Rennes, where Andy rapidly climbed the ranks, often playing alongside players older than him.

In the summer of 2022, he moved to Switzerland to join Basel, making 57 appearances and scoring three goals, all of them in the Conference League.

The time then came for a return to France: Andy was signed by Racing Club de Lens in the summer of 2023. He spent two seasons in the Artois region, becoming an important member of the Sang et Or squad.

A physical, dynamic midfielder, comfortable carrying the ball and taking on opponents, Diouf is a modern player capable of operating in different areas of the pitch. At Inter, Andy has learned to play as a wide player, making the most of his pace and dribbling ability.

In his first season in Nerazzurro, he scored two goals in the Coppa Italia, one in the Champions League and one in Serie A, contributing to the 2026 Double — the first trophies of his career.
