The Nerazzurri created lots of chances, in a match tormented by incessant rainfall, forcing the referee to halt play at the end of the first half. The deadlock was broken in the 14th minute thanks to an amazing goal from Zalewski, his first for Inter. At the start of the second half, Asllani doubled Inter’s lead from the penalty spot, with the game ending 0-2.
