26 September 2020: In the first match of the new season, Inter won a spectacular, thrilling victory against Fiorentina. The Viola took the lead through Kouamé, then Lautaro turned it around with a great goal and by forcing an own goal. In the second half, Fiorentina regained the lead at 3-2, but in the final two minutes the Nerazzurri came from behind again, thanks to goals from Lukaku and Danilo D'Ambrosio in the dying embers of the encounter.
