Diary from the States, Day 5 | Los Angeles in Black and Blue
FIFA Club World Cup
— Jun 16th 2025For the past few days, Los Angeles has felt like our city. It’s not often you get to prepare for a match this far from home. Thousands of kilometers away, an ocean in between — and yet, even here, the Nerazzurri family is making its presence felt. The wait for the Club World Cup is growing shorter. The moment is almost here.
Some have always been here, some have just arrived, others left and came back. The faces of Sucic and Luis Henrique, Valentin, Sebastiano, and Pio. The coach leads, shouts, sets the tempo of training sessions that grow more intense by the day.
Football draws attention. Football wins people over. Our Nerazzurri truck drives through the city. Inter fans in California — and beyond — gather around it. They meet, they connect, they recognize each other. The truck moves, and with it, new connections are born. It reaches iconic locations and becomes a hub — for stories, for encounters, for discovery.
A giant is roaming the city, too: it’s Maicon. The Nerazzurri shirt fits him like a second skin. He’s been here before — in 2009, during a summer tour, with coach Chivu by his side. Today, he’s a bridge between past and present, a powerful voice of Interismo spreading through the city, growing, expanding.
From vibrant neighborhoods to the most exclusive corners — we’ve brought Inter everywhere. This is Inter. This is Internazionale. The World Cup is knocking. Los Angeles, we’re ready.
