The thoughts of the French defender on the eve of the clash against the Japanese side

SEATTLE - On the eve of the match against the Urawa Red Diamonds, Benjamin Pavard shared his thoughts from the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Seattle, the training ground od the Seattle Seahawks.

“The match against Monterrey wasn't great, we suffered from the heat. It's difficult to start again after the Champions League defeat, but we need to think about winning the next match: we're training well, it's all going well with the new coach and we'll do our best to win tomorrow. We're against a good team, I played with Hiroki Ito at Stuttgart. They're tactically brilliant, we'll need to play well to win. The training sessions have gone well, we're doing well with Chivu and we are working well with the new arrivals, who've integrated well. We're finding our best form, the results will come. Inzaghi? I want to thank him because he helped me grow as a player, this is football, people come and go. Chivu is great from a personal point of view, he speaks with everyone. He knows how to play football and we train well, we're doing a great job with the staff. The season was long, now we're thinking about winning tomorrow's game to gain qualification: we have to give everything. ”
