Le nerazzurre inaugurano la stagione con una vittoria in trasferta nella prima giornata della Serie A Women's Cup


Inizia con una vittoria nella prima gara ufficiale la stagione 2025/26 dell'Inter Women. Le nerazzurre giocano una partita di grande personalità e qualità in casa del Genoa, conquistando tre punti fondamentali nella prima giornata della neonata Serie A Women's Cup. All'impianto sportivo "La Sciorba" le ragazze di Piovani vincono per 1-2: i gol di Bartoli e Bugeja nel primo tempo bastano all'Inter per avere la meglio delle rossoblu, che nel finale dimezzano lo svantaggio con la rete di Mele.

Il primo tempo si apre con un'Inter molto aggressiva e determinata, che pressa il Genoa all'interno della sua metà campo senza lasciare respiro alla formazione rossoblu. Le padrone di casa attendono e provano a colpire in ripartenza: la prima occasione è per Massa, che all'11' prova un tiro da fuori area dopo essere scappata in contropiede. L'Inter macina gioco e controlla ritmo e possesso del pallone: Bugeja sfiora il vantaggio in due occasioni, ma si vede respingere le sue conclusioni da centro area. Al 25' l'Inter trova il gol: su corner perfetto di Magull Bartoli colpisce di testa e batte Forcinella, siglando la rete dell'1-0. La partita rallenta, l'Inter controlla con sicurezza: al 38' le nerazzurre trovano anche il raddoppio con Bugeja. Csiszar colpisce al volo un pallone vagante in area, Forcinella respinge come può ma non riesce a impedire all'attaccante maltese di depositare in rete da pochi passi. Nel finale di tempo le ragazze di Piovani vanno vicine al tris con Glionna, che si vede respingere un bel tiro da Forcinella.

La ripresa si apre con due cambi nelle file nerazzurre: Tomaselli prende il posto di Magull, mentre Bowen subentra ad Andrés. L’Inter prova subito a imporre il proprio ritmo, rendendosi pericolosa con Glionna e Detruyer, vicine al bersaglio nei minuti iniziali. Le rossoblù rispondono con Giacobbo, ma la conclusione dell’attaccante viene neutralizzata da Runarsdottir. Con il passare dei minuti la formazione di Piovani continua a spingere. Dalla distanza ci provano prima Pleidrup e poi Detruyer, senza fortuna. Le padrone di casa provano a riaprire la sfida con tiri da fuori di Cinotti e Hilaj, ben controllati dalla difesa interista. Al 73’ ancora Runarsdottir si fa trovare pronta sul tentativo della stessa Cinotti. L’Inter risponde con Tomaselli e Bartoli, entrambe vicine al gol che avrebbe chiuso l’incontro. Nel finale la gara si accende: l’ingresso di Mele dà nuova linfa al Genoa, che all’88’ trova il gol che riapre il match. I minuti di recupero vedono l’Inter gestire il risultato con ordine. Dopo cinque minuti supplementari, il direttore di gara decreta la fine delle ostilità. Una vittoria preziosa per le nerazzurre, che inaugurano al meglio la loro avventura nella Serie A Women’s Cup.
