Le nerazzurre accedono al primo turno di Qualificazione di UEFA Women’s Europa Cup grazie al successo contro il Valur firmato da Bugeja, Magull, Polli e Detruyer


L’Inter Women prosegue il proprio cammino europeo grazie al successo per 4-1 contro il Valur che permette alle nerazzurre di accedere al primo turno di Qualificazione di UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.

Il sorteggio per il turno di Qualificazione è in programma a Nyon il 31 agosto: la doppia sfida per accedere all'Europa Cup è in programma il 10/11 (andata) e 17/18 (ritorno) settembre.

Dopo la sconfitta contro il Brann, la squadra di Piovani sorpassa la formazione islandese con un poker di gol firmati da Bugeja, Magull, Polli e Detruyer e chiude il turno di qualificazione al terzo posto aggiudicandosi l’opportunità di continuare il percorso in Europa.

VALUR-INTER | LA PARTITA

Vittoria importante per l'Inter Women che contro il Valur domina una sfida mai in discussione con un tris di gol segnati già nel primo tempo e la firma di Detruyer nella ripresa dopo l'unica rete realizzata dalla formazione islandese.

L'avvio del primo tempo racconta bene l'approccio aggressivo delle nerazzurre che nel primo quarto d'ora si rendono pericolose più volte con Bugeja, Polli e Magull che tenta la rovesciata. Dopo il colpo di testa di Tomašević sul cross di Glionna -subentrata al 17' dopo l'infortunio di Serturini-, la formazione di Piovani ha la possibilità di andare in vantaggio dal dischetto ma Magull allarga troppo il suo destro. Il gol però è solo rimandato di una manciata di secondi, perchè al 31' Bugeja, già in gol all’esordio nella Serie A Women’s Cup, manda in vantaggio l’Inter con un sinistro potente che supera Magnúsdóttir.

La rete dell'attaccante maltese sblocca la gara e al 36' arriva il raddoppio con Magull precisa nel ribadire in porta il pallone respinto da Magnúsdóttir sulla conclusione di Csiszar per il suo tredicesimo gol in Champions. Anche il tris interista non si fa attendere: al 41' è il sinistro al volo di Polli a cambiare nuovamente il tabellino.

Al 49' il Valur accorcia con Fridriksdóttir ma l'Inter rimane in gestione del match e inserisce forze fresche che danno nuova energia al gruppo e all'84' arriva anche la quarta rete con il tap-in vincente di Detruyer dopo la traversa di Vilhjálmsdóttir. Il poker nerazzurro permette così alla formazione di Piovani di proseguire il proprio cammino europeo con l'accesso al primo turno di Qualificazione di UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.
