A Istanbul si è tenuto il sorteggio della fase a gironi della UEFA Champions League 2022/2023: si è delineato così il cammino dell'Inter nella massima competizione europea. I nerazzurri di Simone Inzaghi sono stati inseriti nel GRUPPO C con Bayern Monaco, Barcellona e Viktoria Plzen.

La fase a gironi della Champions League in questa stagione si disputerà in otto settimane e si chiuderà prima dell'inizio della Coppa del Mondo FIFA 2022.
